An AV system is a long-term investment, and a little upkeep protects it. Most failures are avoidable with routine care. Here are the maintenance practices that keep systems reliable in Nepal.
Keep firmware and software current
Cameras, displays, DSPs and control systems all receive updates that fix bugs and add features. Scheduled updates prevent compatibility surprises during a meeting.
Clean and check the hardware
Dust kills electronics. Clean filters and vents, check cable terminations, and confirm mounts are secure — especially on video walls and ceiling gear.
Test before you need it
Run a monthly check of cameras, microphones and displays so faults are found on your schedule, not during an event.
Manage batteries and consumables
Wireless mics need a charging routine; keep spare batteries and lamps on hand for event spaces.
Have a support plan
A maintenance contract turns downtime into a phone call — see after-sales support.
